These past
months I’d been listening to Indonesian songs which is really rare for me. Songs
of singers like Tulus, Adera, or a band like GIGI had been filling my music
playlist until my addiction to Japanese songs got back because of these guys
=> Generations from EXILE TRIBE!
Ok, it was such a coincidence when I watched a Japanese Variety Show which was
presented by 2 young men who disguised themselves as a teacher in a high school,
some kinda prank to the students. These guys are Shirahama Aran and Sekiguchi
Mandy from Exile which later made me interested to find out more about ‘em, ya
know no one wouldn’t get attracted by that beautiful face Aran has >.<
Actually
long time ago I’ve heard about EXILE but never listen or see their music
videos, I only know that they’re consisted of few men (about more than ten) and
their looks were really mature, like using a black suit while performing in a
music show. But then I finally watched their PV aaaand I got my jaws dropped!
EXILE THE SECOND
SANDAIME J SOUL BROTHERS
GENERATIONS
They ARE
really different from other Japanese idol groups I’ve been known these times.
Not only the concept, the song they represent, the dance, also the music
videos, I couldn’t believe I just recognized them nowadays. They consider
themselves as a vocal and dance group, so they’re not idol, artist maybe?
They only got 2 members as vocalists and the other rests are the dancers or
what they call ‘Performers’. This is what I really interested to, the vocalists
do have a skill in singing also the performers basically are professional
dancers even before becoming EXILE member.
The music
videos seem cost a lot of money, a damn looooot money! Unlike Johnny’s groups
who make a PV as if it’s only an obligation when you want to sell a CD, as long
there’s your fav idol’s face showing, no matter if he only use 1 costume along
the video, or only dance in one studio, it’s enough because Johnny-san can
guarantee it’ll top the oricon chart #sarcasticdetected# Yeaaah, I’ve always been disappointed with Johnny’s
PV, even for the most famous group like Arashi only have one or two PV which
reached my expectation -.-‘
About the
music, EXILE has a wide-range of genre, pop, rock, ballad, jazz, and these past
years they’ve been making electric-pop music which I used to avoid to listen
(I thought it was an ear-soar), but nooow I’m officially addicted! Like
R.Y.U.S.E.I from Sandaime J Soul Brothers which was a big hit in 2014, or
Generations’ debut song, Brave it out, they’re likely a party song which played
in a club, but I just keep playing it though I was a rock music fan XD

And yeah,
don’t miss the fact that most of the members have a smexy body which become one
of the group’s charachteristic. I’ve become get used to piercing and those
accessories they use, it suits them anyway. A fashion that really manly and
recent, even the older members still look hot in whatever they wear >.<
